Boeing Ukraine is currently looking for Structural Analysis Engineer to join their team in Kyiv Ukraine.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis of aircraft structures (airframe: wing and fuselage). Structural analysis includes calculation of loads static and fatigue analyses.
Evaluate structural integrity of aircraft components by way of classical hand calculations.
Generate documentation (stress check notes) to report analysis results to support certification and qualification processes.
Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Develop repairs for airframe elements.
Work with regulatory framework (FAA) for warranting safety and regulatory compliance.
Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment.
Technical rigor and focus on excellence.
Plans performs and leads detailed structural analysis (static strength durability/fatigue and damage tolerance).
Develops new materials methods tools and designs to support future programs.
Leads a team of stress analysts and provide coaching across all levels.
Works under minimal direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Â
Bachelorâs Degree in Mechanical Aerospace Applied Mechanics Structural Engineering or related fields.
Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals such as material properties free-body diagrams load path structural loads joints and structural analysis methods.
Strong knowledge of strength of materials (hand calculation analytical methods) approach.
Strong knowledge of aircraft structure design philosophy.
Solid communicator intermediate level or higher in both written and verbal English.
Readiness to work with multi-functional team in a flexible schedule (weekends/holidays support overtime shifted work schedule) to meet the business needs.
Readiness for business trips â up to 25% of working time.
Experience in structural analysis of metallic or composite airframe structures.
2+ years work experience in structural analysis engineering (5+ for experienced level).
Experience in static and fatigue analyses (additional for experienced level).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Â
Experience in static analysis.
Knowledge of finite element method approach.
Knowledge of Boeing aircraft structures.
Familiarity with FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 25 & 26).
Experience in CAD/CAE systems (Catia Nastran/ Patran).
Additional Preferred Qualifications for experienced level:Â
Experience in static fatigue and damage tolerance analyses.
Proven experience in structures engineering.
Experience in leading a team of stress analysts.
