Boeing Engineering & Technology Center is currently seeking Senior Structure & Payload Design Engineers to become part of the Freighter Conversions and Modifications team in Poland. Structure and Payload Engineers will develop integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design. You will develop maintain and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods to provide product definition to other engineering groups production operations suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle. Models from 7-series Legacy series 787 airplanes to the latest Boeing 777X aircraft.

This role providing communication and integration across the BCA and BGS Structure and/or Payload Design Engineering Team Global sites and other Business Units.

Profile Description:
Provides guidance and direction to develop integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
Leads development maintenance and modification of structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods to provide product definition to other engineering groups production operations suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
Leads performance integration and analysis of tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Develops new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness quality and efficiency of the development effort.
Investigates new technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
Works under consultative direction.

Position Requirements:
15 or more years' related work with FAA or EASA in Commercial Aircrafts or Defense.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Solid communicator fluent in both written and verbal English.
Strong knowledges of Model Based Definition using CATIA/Teamcenter (or similar PDM) methods and tools.
Experience of work with composites.
Experience effectively communicating and collaborating on multi-discipline teams.
Aircraft interior commodity experience (Interior commodities are items such as overhead stowage bins lavatories galleys seats PSU sidewalls air grilles flight deck seats etc.).
Experience mentoring junior engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading multi-functional teams.
Knowledge of BCA BGS BDS processes and organizations.
Experience of MRO or Production Line support.
Excellent oral & written communication.
Bachelor Master or Doctorate of Science degree in Structure Design or related science or technology field degree.

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD Master +3 years related work experience).
