The Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS)Ā is seeking an Engineering Tool Administrator to join our Site Engineering Tools team in Oklahoma City OK.
The successful candidate will administer trouble-shoot and develop improvements for engineering tools used across the Oklahoma City site.Ā
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate Experienced and Senior Level Engineering Tool Administrator.
Position Responsibilities:
Associate (Level 2)
Collect data to define and validate requirements for new and revised hardware and software systems
Assist with the design development and testing of applications
Support trade studies and other forms of analysis to formulate optimum solutions for users
Support deployment of new or revised processes in support of new computing systems by assisting with user training and preparation of relevant documents
Assist with development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes
Assist with evaluation of new computing technologies to support business requirements
Work under general supervision
Experienced (Level 3)
Define and validate requirements for new and revised hardware and software systems
Design develop and tests applications
Perform trade studies and other forms of analysis to formulate optimum solutions for users
Develop and deploy new or revised processes in support of new computing systems including documentation and training
Support the development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes
Facilitate integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements
Work under general direction
Senior (Level 4)
Define and validate complex requirements for new and revised hardware and software systems
Lead the design development and test of applications and systems
Lead development of trade studies and other forms of analysis to formulate optimum solutions for users
Guide and coordinate development and deployment of new or revised processes in support of new computing systems including documentation and training
Facilitate development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes
Lead and coordinate integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements
Mentor less experienced employees
Work under minimal direction
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Ā This is at the hiring teamās discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry
1 or more year of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Configuration Management systems Change Management and PLM Processes and Tools
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with overseasĀ teams
Experience with Oracle SQL Server .NET ASP HTML Cold Fusion CMPro 3DX Tableau
Typical Education/Experience:Ā
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
Senior (Level 4)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.

Summary pay range (Associate level 4): 68000 ā 92000
Summary pay range (Experienced level 3): 81150 ā 113850
Summary pay range (Senior level 4): 104550 ā 141450
