What you will do (day in the life):
In this role you will perform a variety of tasks as a member of the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) System Test & Evaluation Team. Primarily you will support the GMD Cyber Test Manager and Cyber Test Director to aid in the planning and execution of system level cyber test events. Other tasks will include Test Integrator activities Agile implementation and Model Based Engineering (MBE)/Digital Engineering support for modeling test activities in a digital environment. Some travel may be required (~15%) for deploying to support distributed testing of the operational assets.

Position Responsibilities:
Support Cyber Test Manager during System Level Cyber test eventsResponsible for the review update and release of cyber test plans and documentationAssess Cyber Test Objectives against the System Under Test and provide feedback on feasibility and logicLead agile meetings as Product Owner/Scrum Master for System Level Cybersecurity TestsWork with other team members (internal and external) to ensure schedule commitments are metOpenly communicate and collaborate across engineering and non-engineering functionsTravel with test team and perform integrator activities (generate Positive Access Control sheets and submit to the GMD Element Coordination & Information Center (GECIC) generate Test Information Sheets capture status for End of Day reports other coordination efforts)Work Location: Huntsville AL
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
Requirements:
Active Secret security clearance or ability to apply for secret clearanceBachelor’s degree from an accredited course of study5+ years of experience in engineeringExperience coordinating across multiple product teamsAbility to travel up to 15% of time including to government facilities This position requires a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the Ballistic Missile Defense System Ground-based Midcourse Defense program and/or the Missile Defense Agency Experience with cybersecurity testing Experience in Test conduct and troubleshootingExperience using Cameo System Engineering Modeling (SysML) toolsetExperience leading teams within engineering or serving as a technical lead Active Secret security clearanceTypical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD Master +3 years' related work experience). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.

Summary Pay Range: $79000 - $140000
