The Boeing Company is looking for a F/A-18 Advanced Mission Systems DevSecOps Software Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join our F/A-18 Advanced Mission Systems software team in Berkeley MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) business organization. This role will involve the development software builds automation and working in an Agile collaborative environment. The selected candidate(s) will have the opportunity to play a key role in the development and maintenance of software in support of some of the newest and most advanced systems and capabilities on the F/A-18 platform.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate and Experienced Software Engineers.
Occasional travel may be required but would be less than 10%.
Position Responsibilities:
Full-stack development experience
Python/C#/.Net experience
React/Node.js
CI/CD Pipeline knowledge
Experience with Bazel or CMake
Configuration Management experience
SDLC knowledge
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.Ā The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Computer Engineering Software Engineering Computer Science Mathematics Physics or other technical degree
2+ years of professional experience with C C++ C# Python Java or Ada
Experience automating software builds unit tests integration tests deployment and installations using a DevOps tool chain using Artifactory and/or Gitlab
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 or more yearsā related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of python/C# experience
Experience automating CI/CD pipelines
Experience developing self-hosted web applications using popular web frameworks
Experience developing user interfaces (GUIs/CLIs) for complex product baselines
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
Experienced (Level 3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.

Summary pay range for Associate: $85000 ā $115000
Summary pay range for Experienced: $104550 - $141450
