Boeing Engineering & Technology Center is seeking a Expert Electrical Wire Design & Install Engineer.
This position can work in a hybrid model or after a trial period remotely.
Join our team in Rzeszow or in locations such as: Gdansk/ Warsaw.
Profile Description:
Boeing Engineering & Technology Center is currently seeking Expert Electrical Wire Design & Install Engineers to become part of the Freighter Conversions and Modifications team in Poland. Electrical Engineers work with customers to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements. Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Develops and maintains electrical product detail assembly and installation designs - everything from 7-series Legacy series 787 airplanes to the latest Boeing 777X aircraft.This role providing communication and integration across the BCA and BGS Electrical Design Engineering Team Global sites and other Business Units.
Position Responsibilities: Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Analyzes results and performs design reviews. Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews. Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g. rejection tags production action requests shop revision requests). Documents processes specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Develops complex statements of work metrics schedules and budgets. Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Works under minimal direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
5 or more years' related work with FAA or EASA in Commercial Aircrafts or DefenseBachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalentStrong knowledges of Electronic & Electrical Engineering discipline in AerospaceExperience of work with compositesExperience effectively communicating and collaborating on multi-discipline teamsExperience mentoring junior engineers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Experience leading cross-functional teamsKnowledge of BCA BGS BDS processes and organizationsExperience of MRO or Production Line supportExcellent oral & written communicationDemonstrated solid technical background with ability to guide teamBachelor Master or Doctorate of Science degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related science or technology field degreeSystems Thinking - Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system including the impact of changes in one area on another area.Innovative creative approach to development.Accuracy and precision.Focus on long-term cooperation and professional development.Willingness to travel on business (c.a. 15% of the time).Existing rights to work in Poland

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through sophisticated technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD Master +3 years related work experience).
