Boeing Talent Acquisition is seeking a Spares Provisioning Services Engineer (U-file) to support our Boeing Global Services (BGS) Provisioning Services team in Poland.
U-file Spares Provisioning Services Engineer is responsible for providing engineering data with recommendations of a quick source (Bulk Material List) for identifying consumable materials specified for maintenance tasks and provisioning recommendations based on estimates from various maintenance actions occurring during the service of acquired aircraft model. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality. The candidate will need to be a team player who works well with subject matter experts and others toward a common goal. The candidate will need to have the ability to prioritize and complete work assignments in a timely manner. The candidate will need strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse individuals at all levels to address engineering and technical requests develops and implements solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
Reading manufacturer and supplier Component Maintenance Manuals reports drawings and other specifications to determine type class and grade of consumable material used in actions occurring during the maintains service.Analysis and update engineering data from 'Boeing Spares Engineering System' applications that includes the items from the Bulk Materials Recommendation Lists from the Component Maintenance Manuals.Researching general data requirements to evaluate revisions to technical publication products and data.Assist in creation of work instructions and necessary instruments within the discipline for optimization of the working process.Perform collateral duties as assigned to meet business needs as they relate to ISO 9001 Quality Productivity etc.Supports other teams as instructed to meet engineering commitments.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Aerospace (preferable) or other higher higher incomplete or secondary technical education for qualification related to the development manufacturing or operation of the mechanical and electrical systems.General understanding of main principle units of aircraft.Knowledge of technical fundamentals such as properties of materials properties of consumables used in Component Maintenance Manuals. Familiar with the main principles of work with databases and software products.Understanding of standards drawings specifications technical and maintenance documents.Ability to provide technical support to other engineers.Solid communicator upper-intermediate / advanced level in both written and verbal English.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
At least 2 years Aircraft maintenance or other electromechanical systems will be as plus.AMOS CMM AIPC maintenance documents experience will be a plus.Flexible & adaptable in a diverse & fast paced environment.Solid communicator in both written and verbal English.Familiar with creation of instructions and necessary instruments for optimization of the working process.
Typical Education/Experience:Â
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from a course of study in engineering (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).
