The Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for the design development and innovation of camera hardware for all related Apple products. Our target is to deliver superior camera hardware to enable best-in-class camera user experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic high energy individual who can help us with tomorrow’s challenges.

Experience with designing analog or mixed-signal ICs in areas such as power management current drivers or analog sensing.Solid design intuition and understanding of architectural trade-offs (power/performance/area etc.) in both silicon and system-level design.Solid EE fundamentals in both analog and digital design and tackling new challenges with the critical thinking and problem solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

- Defining and driving IC specifications working in tandem with camera systems mechanical optical firmware and product/test engineers.
- Engagement in vendor selection including assessment of technical capabilities and existing IP.
- Working with vendors to ensure IC implementations conform to system specifications.
- Reviewing and providing guidance for both vendor and internal validation plans results and reports.
- Providing IC specific and broad electrical engineering support to camera HW and cross functional teams.

At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138900 and $256500 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
