Our team is looking for an extraordinary Thin Film Transistor (TFT) panel design engineer to design develop and launch the next display technologies for the displays in Apple products. Our TFT panel design team is responsible for delivering the sophisticated TFT panel designs and technologies to enable the world’s best display performance in Apple Products. You will serve as a focal point in architecting and developing the total TFT pixel and panel designs. This includes display panel modeling simulation integrated circuit-on-glass design panel architecture and whole panel function simulation!

Hands-on experience in-depth technical knowledge and proven track record in the design and development for display (OLED LCD) or related electronics.Ability to perform circuit layout parasitic RC extraction circuit modeling and SPICE simulationUnderstanding the basic TFT and panel processExcellent written and verbal communication skills are requiredThe following experience in display touch is a plusExperience in measuring and characterizing IV and CV of TFT devicesExperience in developing designing and manufacturing mass volume displayExperience in characterizing panel optical and electrical performanceExperience in gate column driver IC and other display electronics designs

- New TFT technologies exploration investigation and validation

- International business travel to support project implementation

- Engage and collaborate with multi-functional teams including TFT process Display

- Optics Touch EE Display EE and Mechanical Engineering Display touch

- Collaborate with external vendors for display manufacturing

At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138900 and $256500 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
