Quality Control Team Leader
Milk-Bone is currently seeking a Quality Control Team Leader. This is a more entry level technician position for someone looking to grow and develop into a quality role and expand their career.

The range for this position is $27-$28 / hour.

Qualifications/Requirements
Familiarity with Microsoft environment including Word Excel Power Point is necessary.Understanding of GFSI BRC and FSMA requirements a plus.Sound communication organizational and scientific (analysis statistics microbiology) skills are critical to this position.Successful candidate required to have flexibility to work alternate shifts holidays and weekends which are required per the production schedule.
Responsibilities
Principle accountabilities include the auditing of in-process manufacturing controls ensuring that all products are produced in compliance with Federal State Local and JM Smucker requirements.Inspection testing and documentation of inbound raw material receipt.Complete preventive controls inspections in accordance with sites Food Safety Plan and fully document root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations.Responsible for “audit ready” program management as assigned.​
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to ascend and descend stairwaysConstant walking bending twisting and carrying of product throughout the facility.Ability to work on elevated surfaces maneuver and climb ladders and rail cars.Ability to be trained and qualified to use fall protection equipment while performing rail car sampling.
Education
Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred2 years manufacturing experience required food manufacturing preferred.
