Your Opportunity as the Developer IS Infrastructure & Support Services
The Developer IS Infrastructure & Support Services is responsible for translating business and/or functional requirements into technical solutions under general supervision. Within IS Support Services the Developer has specific focus on managing and maintaining the Company’s systems which promote code deployment standards compliance and ITSM best practices. Additionally the developer will provide support for the enterprise ServiceNow platform.
Location: Orrville OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)
Work Arrangements: Hybrid ~25% in office presence
In this role you will:
Application Delivery:
Writes code or configures software based upon technical designs.
Executes unit and integration testing to ensure new functionality meets technical design.
Adheres to documented standards for development code promotion and change management.
Understands how data is utilized and transformed in applications and scripts.
Assists in creating specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
Application Support:
Provides troubleshooting and fixes for software issues.
Creates and executes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support existing and new IT Service Management business processes.
Analyze and provide creative solutions to identified issues.
Follows defined support call paths including status updates in case management tool.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in MIS Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related field
Prior internship or applicable job experience
High personal standards of integrity
Embraces a customer service mindset
Eager to learn
Effective spoken and written communication skills
Strong problem solving or troubleshooting skills
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):
Technical certification: IT Service Management ITIL CISA or CPA
Prior experience with technical delivery
Prior experience with ServiceNow platform
Prior experience with Database Software
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Familiarity with IT General Controls
Familiarity with Source Code management or Version Control software (Git SVN)
Familiarity with Container frameworks (Docker Kubernetes)
Familiarity with Cloud Development and major Cloud Providers (AWS Azure GCP)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab Jenkins)
Effective Unix/Linux Bash scripting skills
Effective Javascript skills
Effective SQL skills
