About the Team
The GTM DCX team within the Business Technology organization manages the full lifecycle application development on the Adobe Experience Manager and Salesforce Platforms performance optimization critical incident resolution and environment & release management functions powering all aspects of the unified experience with in workday community and deliver a cloud-based personalized online interactive experiences for our customers.
About the Role

We are looking to hire a hands on engineering manager who will lead our Pune Engineering efforts and guide the team to maintain and deliver highly available and scalable web applications for our customers. In this role you will be a hands on technical leader leading a team of engineers to design write and ship web applications on Adobe Experience Manager

Responsibilities:​
Design develop and maintain websites and web applications built on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand end-user requirements and implement solutions to meet those needs
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AEM implementation
Keep up-to-date with the latest AEM releases and best practices in web development
Ensure that technical direction is clear and appropriate and followed within the team that technical debt is accounted for and minimized
Ensure productive collaboration with product management and other development teams across the globe.
Mentor team members for career growth and personal development
Work with other Workday teams to resolve dependencies on time

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and be able to converse easily with customers product management and engineers switching gears as vital

Basic Qualifications

8+ years web application development experience
Proven track record (5+ years) of shipping products with high quality and on-time.
Strong API build design and integration experience
Proficiency in Full stack development technologies: Server Side(Java/Spring/Go) and Frontend (React/Angular etc)
Experience in one of the public cloud providers (AWS or GCP)
Experience leading teams using agile development methodologies (Lean/Scrum/Kanban)
Bachelor’s Degree or higher Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Adobe AEM development
Salesforce Administration knowledge is a plus
Strong knowledge of Java J2EE and web development technologies
Experience with AEM components templates workflows and the AEM development process
