About the Role
Workday is looking for a Senior Procurement Systems Manager to report into the Senior Manager Procurement Systems. You will work on the Procurement Systems team within our Procurement Center of Excellence that is responsible building a future-focused outlook ensure operational excellence and provide dedicated resources to bring new programs to maturity. Your work as a hands-on a procurement systems manager will have a global impact across the enterprise. You will partner with functional teams to develop detailed business requirements help create solutions for efficient processes that are designed for scale and complete systems implementations using Workday’s best-in-class suite of Spend Management products. In this high impact and high visibility role you will also interact with all levels of the organization exercise effective decision making and consensus building and shape change at a global scale. Your technical expertise in procurement technology and processes will guide project teams to create extraordinary solutions to their business challenges. You will also use your solid attention to detail and your love for technology and innovation to help drive the system strategy. As a key player on the team this role will interact with many different aspects of the business including gathering project requirements creating dynamic solution designs for proposed projects product feature requests and assisting in the implementation & adoption of product feature enhancements. You will support various system integrations business processes and establish key partnerships across the Global Procurement Organization. The successful candidate must work well in a team environment while being a collaborative resourceful and independent self-starter able to work effectively with minimal direction.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of system implementation methodology
Lead and drive multi-functional programs aimed at achieving strategic goals overseeing all aspects of program management including organizing program elements and activities establishing clear objectives defining goals hitting timelines and ensuring effective collaboration across diverse teams and Workmates.
Collaborate with Workmates across the organization to define user requirements and translate these requirements into comprehensive solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives industry standard processes and regulatory requirements
Demonstrate Workday Spend Management system expertise identifying process or configuration improvement opportunities and offer creative solutions to drive continuous improvement
Partner with Workday Product teams to share improvement opportunities and product insights within the Spend Management suite
Effectively communicate status updates and risk assessments to the management team
Procurement system administration configuration and maintenance
Data and system migrations
Assess the training needs of end users develop/enhance training materials and deliver effective training programs
Maintain a close relationship with Product understand roadmap provide feedback on functionality support the uptake of new release features within GPO.
Build strong and productive working relationships with Workmates and business partners.
Drive and elevate multi-functional programs to achieve
About You
Basic Qualifications
Experience implementing administering and integrating SaaS software
4 + years’ of experience in Procurement Systems Management Source to Pay Process Design and system implementation. Workday Spend Management experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
Other Qualifications
Proven project management interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to drive multi-functional initiatives and implement ideas in a dynamic changing environment
Experience in the design and deployment of new systems and processes at scale with an emphasis on continuous process improvement
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong critical thinking and business curiosity including sophisticated analytical and problem solving skills solid ability to work with data to drive insights and decisions
Proactive result oriented with a can-do attitude in meeting critical timelines
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including but not limited to geography experience skills job duties and business need among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $109100 USD - $163700 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $103600 USD - $191900 USD
