Workday Prism Analytics is an industry leading comprehensive Data Management and Analytics platform enabling customers to unlock the highest value from their enterprise data and drive the best business outcomes. Workday Prism Analytics Data integration capabilities enable data engineers and business analysts to intuitively and interactively integrate their data at large scale. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to join our team!
About the Role
Workday Prism Analytics platform enables applications to be built on top of the data management and analytics capabilities delivering analytic applications that enable users to arrive at insights faster and for customers to fuel data driven business outcomes.
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to own initiatives to grow and expand the Workday Prism analytics platform supporting Workday’s Accounting Center application.
In the role you'll work with Product Managers across the Workday Financials pillar along with peers aligned to the Prism Analytics stack (Data Management Reporting and Visualization) to identify functional requirements and build technical capabilities that meet product requirements.
Your vast understanding of customer use cases along with your advocacy for technical user requirements will provide rich end-to-end analytical capabilities. You r partnership with design engineering data science and other product managers will evolve the product and build a phenomenal customer experience that prioritizes both functionality and usability.
You'll delve into technical details with Accounting Center's engineers and architects and you'll lead UX discussions to deliver an epic User Experience for both the data engineer working using data pipelines to the functional user accessing Reports and Dashboards.
You will also mentor junior PMs specific to Product Management and Analytics.
About You
Basic Qualifications
10+ years Product Management experience and/or 12+ years building or testing software (SaaS preferred)
Other Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Consistent record of ownership and results delivery in a fast-paced complex environment
Understanding of Financial Management software and processes is a plus.
Experience with ETL technologies Connector Management Data Management & Analytics platforms
Solid understanding of design thinking and product development process
Collaborative ethos and drive to thrive in a culture of knowledge sharing and transparency with the experience in software development to appreciate the challenges engineering and product teams face.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including but not limited to geography experience skills job duties and business need among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $180000 USD - $270000 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $154100 USD - $270000 USD
