About the Team
The Global Real Estate & Workplace team creates and continuously improves Workday’s productive and safe office environments while supporting our core values and distinction as a great place to work. With this critical contribution to the company in mind we partner with other Workday departments such as People & Purpose Business Technology and Finance to ensure that we are successful in delivering on this goal. We handle every aspect of workplace operations space analysis and projects building facilities and maintenance. We capture employee rapport keep track of office utilization recommend expansions and / or new locations and coordinate projects for office build-outs and control operating and capital expenses.
About the Role

Workday is looking for a versatile Global Design Sustainability Lead to join our growing team. This full-time position is based out of our Pleasanton location. This position will report to our Global Director of Design and Sustainability. We are looking for someone experienced flexible reliable outgoing and professional with a positive work attitude. The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact for key parts of the REW leadership team to establish and preserve excellent working relationships with regional office stakeholders.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Workday Global Director of Design and Sustainability project managers and stakeholdersSupport a cohesive global sustainable vision for the Workday facilities and working environmentsImplement the Workday Global Design Guidelines in future locations and refinement of existing facilitiesWorking with company goals create a plan and oversee the sustainability certifications and implementation in the Workday built environments

About You

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Architecture Interior Design or Project Management
10+ years experience in Architectural and Interior Design
Current Credential in at least one of the following: USGBC LEED WELL Building Standard or BREEAM

Other QualificationsAbility to think strategically
Proven experience in Sustainability Implementation and Thought Leadership
Strong presentation skills
Sustainability Project Management and Space Planning experience

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including but not limited to geography experience skills job duties and business need among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $126300 USD - $189500 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $99800 USD - $189500 USD
