Job Description

Working as part of the Business Technology team based out of Pune you will be responsible for managing the End User Services function for Workday’s base in India and Asia Pacific region. You will ensure our workmates in the region are delighted with the level of service and support they receive. You will ensure you are hiring and nurturing a team that scales as the region grows and delivers exceptional technology solutions. You will work cross functionally with the other towers within Infrastructure such as Network End point engineering Audio Video engineering Collaboration Technologies to ensure the latest and greatest are adapted to align to the needs of the region. You will partner with the global logistics team to ensure adequate supply and distribution of gear to support our workmates in the region and also assist in commissioning or upgrading of sites. This is a pivotal role in the region and will support the top executives and key stakeholders with white glove support. You and the team will thrill the audience with your creativity and fabulous support for events.
About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities:
Define and direct procedures for end user services responsibilities within the region in alignment with global policies
Hire manage coach and mentor a team of exceptional technology professionals to scale with Workday’s growing presence in the region
Hands on lead with technical and management depth to drive all aspects of end user services support in diagnosing problem solving technical support project management and resolution.
Lead support key initiatives in the region by actively participating in project management and technical implementation tasks
Coordinate with global logistics and manage IT asset management functions including procurement distribution and decommissioning of assets
Define procedures orchestrate capabilities and align team to facilitate and produce events for regional and site key stakeholders
Closely interact coordinate delivery and maintain governance oversight of managed service providers and contractors to ensure capability is being delivered within SLA’s and realizing an exceptional user experience
Cultivate and maintain strong relationship with key stakeholders in the region and be the eyes and ears of Business Technology in the region and have a voice in shaping technology support
Review update and maintain knowledge management procedures support global analytics to track SLA’s and trends and help identify areas of automation and improvement including new vendors partners technologies. Support pilot efforts of new technologies and processes.
Lead technical session to onboard Workday’s employees and contractors in the region during New Hire orientation and provide ongoing support with their device and software needs
Support installation commissioning and life cycle management activities of Network and AV equipment as required
Support escalations by coordinating with the stakeholder(s) and technicians to quickly address and resolve technical issues.
Oversee AV events and production support in the region.
Provide exceptional White glove support to key executives and stakeholders in and to those visiting the region
Periodically travel to other Workday offices as required

About You

Required Experience and Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
5+ years of People management experience.
Ability to work independently and manage own schedule effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills problem solving skills attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicts lead meetings deliver presentations and facilitate problem resolution.
Quick learner positive attitude and customer-service focused outlook.
Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and adapt quickly to shifting business priorities.
Develop tactical and strategic solutions for complex business issues.
Strong technical experience managing common enterprise hardware across systems networks and client side. Examples windows mac intune jamf zoom o365 google suite miro confluence jira as well as installing and decommissioning TV’s Monitors Camera’s switches UPS’s etc
Experience with budgeting processes and managing operating expenses.

Desirables:
Previous experience working in a multinational distributed IT organization.
Previous Project management experience with agile scrum and certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP
