Merchandising Coordinator


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandising Coordinator to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Merchandising Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the buying and selling of products to ensure maximum profitability. This is a contract position with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and product quality
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or mark-downs as needed
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and recommend changes in product assortment
- Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional strategies for featured products
- Conduct market research to identify new potential products and suppliers
- Ensure all products meet company standards for quality, pricing, and appearance
- Communicate regularly with sales team to ensure alignment on product availability and promotions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in merchandising or purchasing
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
