Indian Executive Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As an Indian Executive Chef, you will be responsible for planning and directing all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations. Your main goal will be to ensure high-quality, authentic Indian cuisine is consistently delivered to our guests.
Responsibilities:
-Create and develop new menus with a focus on traditional Indian dishes
-Source high-quality ingredients and maintain inventory levels
-Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
-Oversee food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating presentations
-Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times
-Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
-Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary guidelines
-Collaborate with restaurant management to develop strategies for increasing revenue
Requirements:
-Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
-In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
-Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
-Creative mindset with the ability to develop new menu items while also maintaining consistency in existing dishes
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
-Biometric passport or eligibility for obtaining one
