English Speaking Librarian

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Speaking Librarian to join our team in El-Ain, UAE. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our library, providing excellent customer service to our diverse community of patrons, and promoting a love for reading and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the circulation desk, including checking materials in and out, answering questions from patrons, and maintaining accurate records.
- Organize and maintain the library's collection of books, audiovisual materials, and other resources.
- Develop and implement engaging programs and events to promote literacy and encourage a love for reading among all age groups.
- Assist patrons with locating materials, conducting research, and utilizing library resources.
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop displays and exhibits that showcase the library's collections.
- Keep up-to-date with current literature trends and recommend new titles for acquisition.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Previous experience working as a librarian or in a customer service role preferred.
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patrons of all ages.
- Familiarity with library databases and automated systems.
