Job Title: Indian Librarian

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Indian Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources, providing excellent customer service to patrons, and promoting the use of library resources to support learning and research. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of library management systems, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the library, including cataloging, shelving, and circulation of materials
- Develop and maintain a collection of resources that meets the needs of our diverse community
- Provide reference services to patrons by assisting with research inquiries and locating information
- Plan and conduct programs and events to promote library resources and engage the community
- Collaborate with other departments to develop educational materials and support curriculum needs
- Train new staff members on library procedures and assist with their professional development
- Ensure the library is organized, clean, and welcoming for all patrons
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Librarian in an academic or public library setting
- Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
- Strong knowledge of library management systems, cataloging standards, and reference tools
- Familiarity with current technology trends in libraries such as e-books, online databases, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Efficient time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Must be able to obtain own visa for employment in UAE
