Mediation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mediation Specialist to join our team in El-Fujairah, UAE. As a Mediation Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating communication and finding solutions between parties involved in disputes or conflicts. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to remain neutral and impartial, and a deep understanding of conflict resolution techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct mediation sessions with individuals or groups to resolve conflicts
- Listen attentively to both parties' concerns and facilitate productive communication
- Collaborate with parties to identify common ground and find mutually beneficial solutions
- Maintain neutrality and impartiality throughout the mediation process
- Document agreements and follow-up on progress made towards resolution
- Provide guidance and support to parties throughout the mediation process
- Stay updated on conflict resolution techniques and apply them effectively in mediation sessions
- Adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality in all mediations

Requirements:
- Fluency in English is a must, proficiency in Malayalam is preferred
- Proven experience as a mediator or in a similar role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Strong understanding of conflict resolution techniques and principles
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to mediation in UAE
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Law, or related field preferred but not required
