Contract Livestock Specialist

We are urgently seeking an experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert knowledge and support in the management of livestock activities for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular assessments of livestock health and welfare, as well as identifying and treating any diseases or injuries
- Developing and implementing herd management plans to optimize production and ensure animal welfare
- Providing training and guidance to local staff on proper animal care and handling techniques
- Monitoring feed quality and availability, as well as implementing strategies to improve feed efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for animal health, welfare, and biosecurity
- Maintaining accurate records of livestock production, health, and performance data

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working with livestock in a professional setting
- In-depth knowledge of animal husbandry practices, nutrition, breeding, and disease management
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not required
