Livestock Specialist (African Nationals) in Abu Dhabi, UAE


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Livestock Specialist from an African nationality to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for the management, care, and maintenance of our livestock, including cattle, sheep, and goats.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement breeding programs for optimal production and genetic improvement of livestock.
- Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of all livestock through regular check-ups and proper nutrition.
- Implement efficient feeding practices to ensure maximum productivity.
- Oversee the handling and transportation of livestock.
- Manage records of all livestock activities, including birth rates, weight gain, vaccinations, etc.
- Provide training and guidance to other staff members on proper handling and care of livestock.
- Stay updated on industry developments and implement modern techniques for better productivity.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working with livestock in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of animal husbandry practices.
- Ability to handle large animals with care and compassion.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours.
