Housekeeping Manager (Malayalee)

We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping team at our luxury hotel in Umm-Said, Qatar. As a Malayalee, you will bring your strong work ethic and attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance are met throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness standards
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols in accordance with hotel policies
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Maintain records of expenses, budgets, and staff performance evaluations

Requirements:
- Fluency in Malayalam language (spoken and written)
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment used in a hospitality setting
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Proven customer service experience with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed

Preferred:
- Experience working in a luxury hotel environment
- Knowledge of other languages commonly spoken by guests such as English or Arabic
