Housekeeping Manager
Location: Al-Rayyan, Qatar
Nationality: Pakistani preferred
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and be able to effectively manage a team of housekeeping staff.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned to established standards
- Monitor inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment
- Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply closets and storage areas
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, to address any maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas
- Prepare work schedules and allocate resources efficiently
- Conduct performance reviews for housekeeping staff
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Must be physically fit and able to perform duties such as lifting heavy objects
- Must be detail-oriented with high standards for cleanliness
