Facilities Assistant

We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our team in Jabal-Ali, UAE. As a Facilities Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the proper functioning of our facilities. This is a contract position with a preference for English-speaking candidates with experience in facility maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and electrical work
- Repair or replace any damaged equipment or fixtures
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies for maintenance tasks
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of facilities at all times
- Respond to any emergency situations that may arise in a timely manner
- Communicate with management regarding any major repairs or replacements needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience in facility maintenance preferred
- Must have own visa and be legally authorized to work in UAE
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
