Job Title: Librarian (Contract) - Al-Kuwait, Kuwait

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait on a contract basis. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing our library resources and providing library services to our diverse community of users.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing and cataloging books, journals, and other materials in the library
- Developing and implementing library policies and procedures
- Assisting patrons with locating and accessing resources
- Promoting library services and resources to the community
- Managing the budget for purchasing new materials
- Planning and coordinating events and workshops related to promoting literacy and reading
- Supervising library staff members and conducting training when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Librarian in a similar environment
- Knowledge of cataloging systems, information retrieval methods, and reference tools
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
