Agronomist vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE

Contract Agronomist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agronomist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Contract Agronomist, you will be responsible for conducting research, developing and implementing agricultural strategies, and providing expertise on farming practices in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an English-speaking role and preference will be given to candidates from Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on crops, soil conditions, and climate to develop effective farming strategies for the region
- Provide expertise and support to local farmers in implementing sustainable farming practices
- Monitor crop growth and health, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
- Train farmers on new techniques for crop cultivation, irrigation methods, pest control, etc.
- Stay updated on industry developments and implement new technologies or methods for improved crop yield
- Prepare reports on agricultural activities and present findings to management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Agronomist or similar role in the agriculture industry
- Strong knowledge of crop cultivation techniques, soil science, irrigation methods, pest control measures, etc.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Willingness to work on a contract basis without accommodation provided
