Librarian (Contract)

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian who is passionate about providing access to information and knowledge to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing our library resources and providing support to our diverse community of users. This is a contract position, and we welcome candidates from all nationalities.

Responsibilities:
- Manage library collections, including organizing materials, cataloguing, and maintaining accurate records
- Assist users in finding and accessing resources that meet their needs
- Develop and implement library programs and services to promote literacy, research skills, and lifelong learning
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate library resources into their curriculum or programs
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in library technology
- Train and supervise library staff as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues
- Excellent organizational skills
