Third Mate - English Speaking Job in Dibba-El-Fujairah, UAE for Indian Nationals


We are seeking a highly skilled Third Mate for a full-time, English speaking position in Dibba-El-Fujairah, UAE. This job is suitable for Indian nationals with experience in the maritime industry. As a Third Mate, you will be responsible for assisting the Captain and Chief Officer in the safe navigation and operation of the vessel. Your duties will include maintaining navigational equipment, supervising deck operations, and adhering to safety procedures.

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national with proficiency in English
- Previous experience as a Third Mate or similar role in the maritime industry
- Valid seafarer's medical certificate and relevant STCW certifications
- Able to work full-time without accommodation provided
- Must have a valid visa for employment in UAE or be eligible for visa sponsorship
- Physically fit and able to handle physically demanding tasks on deck
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Captain and Chief Officer in navigating and operating the vessel safely
- Maintain and update navigational charts, publications, and equipment
- Supervise deck operations such as mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling
- Conduct regular safety drills and ensure all safety procedures are followed by crew members
- Keep accurate records of ship's movements, cargo operations, and crew activities
- Monitor weather conditions and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe navigation
- Maintain cleanliness of decks and common areas on board
