Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine

We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef with a passion for Indian cuisine to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of authentic and innovative Indian dishes, while maintaining high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. You will lead and manage a team of culinary professionals, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menu items that showcase the flavors and techniques of Indian cuisine
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to maintain stock levels
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective menus while maintaining quality standards
- Create special dishes for events or promotions as needed
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest level of taste, texture, and appearance before being served
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new ideas into menu development

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel specializing in Indian cuisine
- In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, cooking techniques, and regional variations
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is an advantage)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
