Entry-Level Librarian

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for maintaining our library collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and promoting library services and resources. Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library materials, including books, journals, and audiovisual resources
- Assist with cataloging and classifying new materials using standard library classification systems
- Help patrons locate materials for research or leisure reading
- Provide reference services by helping patrons find information from various sources
- Promote library services and resources through outreach activities such as book clubs or workshops
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop innovative programs and services for the community
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in the field of librarianship

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Fluent in English (proficiency in other languages is a plus)
- Familiarity with standard library classification systems (e.g. Dewey Decimal Classification)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in the field of librarianship is preferred
