Hotel Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a luxurious hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As the Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all hotel facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to identify any issues or potential problems
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems
- Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance services
- Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or installations
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and expenses
- Monitor energy usage and implement energy-saving measures where possible
- Train and supervise junior maintenance staff

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a hotel maintenance engineer or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems commonly used in hotels
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a luxury hotel setting
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
