Librarian (English Speaking)

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. This full-time position is open to Indian nationals with excellent English language skills. No prior experience is required, as we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize library resources, including books, periodicals, and multimedia materials
- Assist patrons with locating and accessing materials
- Develop and implement library programs and initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, loans, and returns
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan and execute events and workshops
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and recommend new materials for acquisition

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Excellent proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable using technology for cataloging and research purposes
