Librarian - Full Time (Visa Sponsorship)


We are seeking a full-time Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait. This position is suitable for male candidates and includes visa sponsorship for Pakistani nationals. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing library materials, assisting patrons with research and finding resources, and maintaining the organization of the library.

Responsibilities:
- Manage library materials, including cataloging, shelving, and organizing books, periodicals, and other resources
- Assist patrons with research requests and locating resources
- Provide guidance on how to use library technology and online databases
- Maintain an organized and welcoming atmosphere in the library
- Plan and coordinate events such as book clubs and author readings
- Develop relationships with local schools to promote the use of the library by students
- Stay up-to-date on new books and resources to enhance the collection
- Train new staff members on library procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working in a library or similar setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of library systems and technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required for this position
