Petroleum Engineer - Field Operations (Abu Dhabi, UAE)
We are seeking experienced Petroleum Engineers to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations and ensuring the safe and efficient production of oil and gas resources.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular well surveys and analyze production data to identify potential issues and optimize production levels
- Plan and coordinate drilling activities, including well design, location selection, and equipment procurement
- Monitor well performance and conduct well tests to determine flow rates and reservoir characteristics
- Develop cost-effective solutions for well intervention and workover operations
- Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and other engineers to evaluate reservoir potential and plan development strategies
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during field operations
- Prepare reports on production data, costs, and performance metrics for management review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in petroleum engineering or a related role
- Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, reservoir engineering principles, and production optimization strategies
- Experience with industry software such as Petrel or Eclipse
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to work in remote locations on a rotational basis
