Dental Assistant - English Speaking (Contract)



We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As an English speaking dental assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist in all aspects of patient care and providing exceptional customer service to our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, operating equipment and maintaining a clean working environment
- Preparing patients for treatment by taking their medical history, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns they may have
- Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and treatment rooms to ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Managing patient appointments, maintaining accurate records and handling billing and insurance information
- Providing post-treatment instructions to patients for their ongoing dental care

Requirements:

- Dental assistant certification from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential for communicating with our diverse patient base
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to empathize with patients of all backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
