Accountant vacancy in Doha Qatar

Junior Accountant
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. This is a full-time position, and we welcome applications from both freshers and experienced candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with accounting standards
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Support the senior accountant in various tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is an asset
- Experience working with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
