Livestock Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the health and well-being of our livestock, including cattle, sheep, and goats.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular health checks on all livestock to ensure their well-being and identify any potential issues
- Develop and implement feeding and nutrition plans for different types of livestock
- Monitor the growth and development of livestock to ensure they are meeting expected targets
- Administer vaccinations and medications as needed
- Maintain accurate records of livestock health and performance
- Identify and address any potential disease outbreaks or biosecurity risks
- Oversee breeding programs for optimal production results
- Train and supervise other employees in proper handling and care of livestock

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience working with livestock, preferably in a similar role
- Knowledge of animal husbandry techniques, breeding programs, nutrition, and health management practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions for the welfare of the animals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions
