Junior Librarian (Indians Preferred)

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Librarian to join our team at our library in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait. As a Junior Librarian, you will primarily be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the library, including organizing and maintaining library materials, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and providing excellent customer service. This is an ideal position for someone who is interested in pursuing a career as a librarian and is looking for hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of library materials including books, periodicals, digital resources, and other media
- Provide assistance to library patrons with research and reference inquiries
- Process new materials into the library's collection according to established procedures
- Help maintain accurate records of library materials and patron accounts
- Promote library programs and services to patrons
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons

Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Indian nationality preferred
- No prior experience required, but an interest in pursuing a career as a librarian is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
