Part-Time Agronomist in Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Agronomist to join our team in Abu Dhabi on a part-time basis. As an agronomist, you will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance in the cultivation and management of crops, with a focus on sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to identify the best practices for crop cultivation in the local climate and soil conditions
- Develop and implement effective crop management strategies, including irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting techniques
- Monitor crop health and growth to ensure maximum yield and quality
- Provide guidance to farmers on proper land preparation, planting methods, and crop maintenance
- Collaborate with other agricultural experts to stay updated on industry trends and advancements
- Maintain accurate records of crop production data

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an agronomist
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field
- Strong understanding of agricultural principles, techniques, and technologies
- Proven ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on findings
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to farmers from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preference will be given to candidates who are African nationals or have experience working in African countries. This is a part-time position without accommodation provided. The selected candidate will need to arrange their own visa and travel arrangements.
