Junior Accountant


A leading company in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to kick-start their career in the field of accounting. Our ideal candidate is an Indian national with a strong command of English and has no prior experience in the field.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting the senior accountants in maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will also assist in preparing financial reports and analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well within a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and other accounting transactions
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Work closely with senior accountants to support various accounting tasks
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for reporting purposes
- Provide support during internal and external audits

Requirements:
- Indian national residing in Dubai or willing to relocate
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (fresh graduates are welcome)
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Solid understanding of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Quick learner with a positive attitude
