IT Manager - Contract (Qatar)

Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the company's information technology infrastructure
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of hardware, software, and networking systems
- Ensure the security and integrity of all company data by implementing appropriate security measures
- Identify areas for improvement within our current systems and processes, making recommendations for enhancements or upgrades
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and make recommendations for incorporating new tools or systems into our operations
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions that meet those requirements
- Monitor system performance to proactively identify potential issues or risks
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of products or services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role (preferred)
- Strong understanding of IT principles and best practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with network security, database management, and system administration
- Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization technologies
- Must have a valid visa to work in Qatar
