Hotel Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of all hotel systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in the hotel.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues with equipment or systems and provide timely repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of hotel equipment.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including dates, repairs, and costs.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance tasks that will cause minimal disruption to hotel operations.
- Monitor energy usage and implement energy-saving measures where possible.
- Train and supervise junior maintenance staff members as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in maintenance technology.

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a hotel setting.
- A degree or certification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with other departments.
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping purposes.

Preferred:
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required.
