Cashier (Indian) - Bani Yas City, UAE



We are seeking a reliable and friendly Indian Cashier to join our team at our store in Bani Yas City, UAE. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and welcoming smile
- Scan items and enter prices using the cash register
- Accept payments from customers in the form of cash, credit or debit cards, or other methods
- Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer questions and resolve any issues or concerns they may have
- Promote store loyalty programs and special offers to customers
- Keep track of inventory levels and inform management when stock is low

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
- Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers, scanners, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:
- Indian nationality is preferred but not required
- Previous experience working as a Cashier in the retail industry
- Ability to speak Hindi or other Indian languages is an asset
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
