As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records for various clients on a temporary basis. Your main role will be to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, as well as providing support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records for multiple clients on a contractual basis
- Verify and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Monitor cash flow and prepare bank reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate data and analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues in financial records
- Keep track of expenses, revenues, assets, liabilities, and other financial activities
- Prepare tax returns and assist with audits when necessary

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
Although not required, candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Experience working in a contract or temporary role
