Accountant - Contract Position (Egyptians Only)


We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar on a contract basis. This position is open exclusively to Egyptian nationals who possess a valid biometric passport.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. You will work closely with our finance team to analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, and provide recommendations for budget planning and cost savings. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with local laws and regulations
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for budget planning and cost savings
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements on a regular basis
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other compliance documents
- Provide support during external audits
- Stay up-to-date on changes in local accounting regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant
- Strong knowledge of local accounting laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide recommendations based on data analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

This is a contract position requiring full-time availability for the duration of the contract. The successful candidate must possess a valid biometric passport from Egypt.
