Entry-Level Merchandiser in Doha, Qatar


We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Merchandiser to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating and executing merchandising strategies to increase sales and enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the buying team to develop merchandising plans that align with company goals and customer needs
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform product selection and placement
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Create visually appealing displays that effectively showcase products and attract customers' attention
- Ensure all products are accurately priced and tagged according to company standards
- Continuously analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly
- Train and supervise junior merchandisers, providing guidance on product knowledge and presentation techniques

Requirements:
- African or Malayalee nationality preferred but not required
- Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of other languages is a plus
- No prior experience in merchandising necessary, but a passion for retail is a must
- Familiarity with biometric passports preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Creativity and attention to detail when designing displays
