A Pastry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and participating in daily pastry operations in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing?
As a Pastry Supervisor you would be responsible for overseeing and participating in daily pastry operations in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
t- Oversee and participate in the creation preparation production and baking of all pastries breads rolls and desserts for food and beverage outlets
t- Ensure pastry cooks prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards and inspect food quality and presentation
t- Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus as needed
t- Ensure cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
t- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal state local and company regulations
t- Oversee the display of baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
t- Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
