Director, E-Commerce and Immediate Consumption – Kroger
We are looking for a passionate self-motivated and collaborative individual to join our Kroger business.
In this role you’ll need to be very comfortable drawing insights from data and have the capability to lead change develop people and solve complex problems by thinking critically.  You will also develop and successfully implement solutions to meet the requirements and support the Coca-Cola systems business objectives and strategies.
The eCommerce and Immediate Consumption Director will work closely with the Kroger customer sales leads and partner with the Kroger merchants to deliver an integrated omni-channel beverage portfolio offering to our customers. They will also work to enhance Coca-Cola’s omnichannel and Immediate Consumption partnership with Kroger through the development and execution of a multiyear strategy for growth.
In addition this role will lead the development and stewardship of strategic sales initiatives with Kroger merchants that increase the presence of our brands across Kroger’s platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy development and build plans to grow the Kroger eCommerce channel and Immediate Consumption business
- Develop and execute a customer-focused business plan that grows the eCommerce assortment and digital presence for the entire portfolio in a sustainable profitable manner
- Advance assortment availability and role of Immediate Consumption with Kroger  
- Support business plans based on knowledge expertise and global insights to meet or exceed business plan objectives
- Additional responsibilities include digital shelf forecast performance and budget management
- Lead annual Kroger specific strategic sales initiatives in collaboration with Kroger sales team peers and cross-functional partners
- Foster collaborative partnerships with Kroger merchants North America Operating Unit business leads Customer Marketing Supply Chain bottling ownerships and eCommerce experts
- Build knowledge and capability across the North America Operating Unit and advocate for the fields of eCommerce Digital Marketing and Immediate Consumption
- Demonstrate data reporting and analysis capability knowledge to develop actionable insights that will improve business results
EDUCATION
- Required. Bachelor's degree in relevant field required Master’s degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
Required
- 5+ years in eCommerce and Digital sales development required
- Minimum of 2 years in sales/marketing or operational experience with major accounts
- Demonstrate an interest and skillset suited to eCommerce and retail technology
- Strong analytical skills with experience combining disparate data sources to develop actionable insights
- Demonstrate critical thinking resiliency and strong problem-solving abilities
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Role is based in person in Cincinnati office – requires a minimum of 3 days a week in office
- Travel is required for this role
Preferred
- Working knowledge of Direct Store Delivery or within the Coca-Cola system
- Kroger eCommerce experience
- Have experience leading change and developing organizations
